Brand Signage
During my time with Young & Rubicam, I had the honor of working on one of the most recognizable ad campaigns every produced. From billboards to credit cards I created brand advertising and other print deliverables that promoted the Chevron Corporation brand.
Lead and execute all design across multiple platforms while enforcing a consistent and cohesive image of the brand, and reduce printing and lead cost.
Design of direct mail, quarterly products catalogs, manufacturer product brochures, and price lists. 3D promotional items, e.g., bobble heads, inflatables, scale models. Print advertising inserts in select magazine circulations, and facility and trade show graphics. Worked with engineers to implement website and UI design.
Hired as a Jr. Designer at Young & Rubicam, I was responsible for all Chevron POP. Rapidly promoted to Senior Designer, I was the principal go-to person for all Chevron C-store & internal visual communication needs. Printed collateral, POP, logo development, creative messaging & outdoor advertising. As the Chevron brand police, I provided Y&R with guidance for brand look-and-feel & ensured adherence to the brand's visual identity system.
Certified 16 week course covering software languages, iterative development and Agile methodology.
Curriculum covered typography, letterforms, color theory, package design, web design and illustration. Advanced theory of design using traditional materials and various forms of communication technology.
